4-Amino-2-(2,6-dioxo-3-piperidinyl)-5-hydroxy-1H-isoindole-1,3(2H)-dione is an impurity of Pomalidomide (P688200). Pomalidomide is a thalidomide derivative, a potent inhibitor of TNF-α production. It is an antiinflammatory and antitumor agent used in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
