5-Amino-1,3-benzothiazole-2-carbonitrile can be useful in the synthesis of acidic pH?/glutathione (GSH) dual-?stimuli responsive nanoprobe for enhanced CT imaging of tumours in vivo. It can also be useful in the preparation of cybLuc, an effective aminoluciferin derivative for deep bioluminescence imaging.
