4-?Amino-?2-?methoxy-?5-?(methylsulfonyl)?benzoic Acid is an intermediate in the synthesis of S-Desethyl S-Methyl Amisulpride (D289595), a metabolite of Amisulpride (A633250) Amisulpride is a neuroleptic agent and an analog of Sulpiride (S689145). Amisulpride is used as an antipsychotic and is a dopamine receptor antagonist.
