4-Benzyloxy-3-methoxybenzoic Acid is used in the synthesis of Hsp90 inhibitors as EGCG analogues. Also used in the preparation of vanillates exhibiting cytostatic properties towards cancel cells resistant to pro-apoptotic stimuli.
