1,4-Cubanedicarboxylic acid is a metal-organic framework. 1,4-Cubanedicarboxylic acid is used in the preparation of pH-sensitive hydrogels for oral delivery of hydrophobic drugs and in the synthesis of cubane-based chiral Schiff base ligands.
