3,4'-Diaminodiphenyl Ether, can be used for the synthesis of asymmetric soluble polyimides. It can also be used as a spacer in the preparation of glycine-based molecular tongs as inhibitors of b-amyloid peptide Ab1-40 aggregation in vitro.
