N-(1,1-Dimethylethyl)benzenemethanamine is used in the metabolic studies on N-benzyl-tert-butylamine and potential metabolites in relation to hepatic microsomes preparatons. It is also an inhibitor of phenylethanolamine methyltransferase in rabbit.
