Ethylenediamine-N,N'-diacetic Acid is a substance used in the preclinical evaluation of somatostatin analogs as new analogs in the detection of somatostatin receptor-positive tumors. Also acts as a reagent used in the synthesis of new class of aldehyde and aldose reductase inhibitors.
