2-Fluoro-4-methylbenzyl Bromide is used as a reagent in the synthesis of tetrahydrocarboline derivatives which can serve as inhibitors of ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 2 (ENPP2). 2-Fluoro-4-methylbenzyl Bromide is also used as a reagent in the preparation of benzamide derivatives as angiogenesis inhibitors for treatment of cancer, metastasis.
