Methyl 2-methyl-3-nitrobenzoate is used as a reagent to synthesize Lenalidomide (L328000). Lenalidomide is a compound that exhibits antimyeloma, anticancer and immunomodulatory activity and is used to treat patients with B-cell malignancies.
