1-methyl-1,2-dihydropyrimidin-2-one (cas# 3739-81-9) is a useful research chemical. It is used in the rearrangement reactions of 2-Alkoxypyrimidines. It can also be used in the preparation and intramolecular ring transformation of N,NтАЩ-Dialkylated Triazabicyclo[3.3.1]nonadienes via [4+4] self-condensation of b-Formyl-b-nitroenamines.
