Methyl (R)-3-Chloromandelate is an intermediate in the synthesis of Solabegron Hydrochloride (S676510). Solabegron Hydrochloride is a selective β3-adrenergic receptor agonist, that also produces Somatostatin (S676750). This drug is used for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.
