Phenylglycine Methyl Ester Hydrochloride, is a substituted Glycine derivative, used as an intermediate for the synthesis of various pharmaceutical compounds. It is also a compound involved in the enzymic synthesis of D-(-)-α-Aminobenzyl penicillin by Penicillin Acylase.
