tert-Butyldimethyl(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenoxy)silane (CAS# 873426-76-7) is a useful research chemical compound that is used in the preparation of boronates by rhodium-catalyzed hydrogenation. It is also used in fluoride detection by fluorometry and colorimetry of terphenyl to triphenylene.
