4,4,6-Trimethyl-2-[1-(trifluoromethyl)ethenyl]-1,3,2-dioxaborinane is derived from Hexylene Glycol (H295870), which is used as a reagent in the synthesis of functionalized boronic ester. Also used in the preparation of vinylboronates.
