描述

(S)-(+)-Camptothecin 不可逆地與 DNA-拓撲異構酶 I 復合物結合，抑制拓撲異構酶 I 切割后 DNA 的重新結合，并將酶捕獲在與 DNA 的共價鍵中。該酶復合物被 26S 蛋白酶體泛素化和破壞，從而消耗細胞拓撲異構酶 I。在低劑量下阻斷 S 期細胞周期，并通過細胞周期依賴性和細胞周期誘導大量正常和腫瘤細胞系凋亡- 獨立進程。
