描述

三氯乙酸鈉在紡織工業染色過程中用作酸結合劑。先前已報道三氯乙酸鈉是一種有效的蛋白質變性試劑，將其應用于聚（l-賴氨酸）和聚（l-谷氨酸）以觀察其對螺旋向螺旋轉變和化學反應性的影響。聚(l-賴氨酸)的ε-氨基。將三氯乙酸鈉添加到聚-(l-賴氨酸) 中即使在聚合物的 ε-氨基被質子化的中性 pH 值下也會誘導螺旋構象。
