描述

三碘化鉍的多晶薄膜用作醫學成像應用中的 β 直接檢測器和數字檢測器。碘化鉍（III）用作冰核劑。它還用于電子顯微鏡以顯示突觸。已顯示添加三碘化鉍可提高 Ge-Te-BiI(3) 硫屬化物玻璃的玻璃形成能力和熱穩定性。可溶液加工的 BiI3 納米片已被證明具有在傳統 OPV（有機光伏）器件中用作 HTL（空穴傳輸層）的潛力。
